Do I need to be an experienced potter to join a pottery group?
The pottery groups are informal groups where some experience would be helpful as we do not teach at these groups. We now offer Pottery Workshops where attendees can learn basic pottery techniques. Please see the POTTERY WORKSHOPS for more details.

Do you teach/give lessons in art?
No we do not. Beginners are welcome to come to the art workshops on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and learn as you go. Some members have started with little or no experience and are doing well. We are always willing to give advice on equipment and techniques but we do not formally teach. There are plenty of lessons on painting on YouTube and on the website called Skillshare, and we recommend using these teaching platforms to learn how to paint.
