.Prospective members, who would like to 'try-before-you-buy', can attend up to 4 sessions on payment of the £2 charge each time. Any session can be attended on this basis, so you can try up to 4 different sessions (Art, Pottery and Glass Fusing) before you decide if you like us and want to become a full member of the Society. If you wish to come to a session please email us to arrange a visit. We will make you welcome.
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 years. All Members can attend art, pottery or glass activities, on payment of the additional £2 or £5 session fee mentioned below.
The membership subscription is £30 per year and runs from 1st April to 31st March.
For members who join between 1st September and 31st December the fee is £20.
For members who join between 1st January and 31st March the fee is £10.
These reduced membership fees expire on the following 31st March.
In addition to the above membership cost, we charge £2 for every art and pottery session and £5 for weekly glass fusing sessions. Potters and glass fusers also pay a monthly fee of £10 towards kiln maintenance, repairs and servicing.
